kevlar: it just really doesnt have a place in board construction.

maybe if you wanted to make something you could ride onto sharp rocks then maybe, but to be honest unless you are going to put loads of layers in and vac the thing it will puncture straight through to the core anyway.

I totally agree.

If you insist on using it and want to cut it with normal scissors, just put some "teeth" into the cutting edges with 60 grit (or coarser) sandpaper on a wood block -- works well!
