There are literally hundreds of different ways to finish your board, but this is how we do it:
After the hot-coats cure overnight, we block sand with 60 grit, then 120 grit, then spray the 1st coat of primer on (don't forget to mark the inserts before you spray )
You'll probably have a few pinholes to deal with, so fill them with laquer putty. Sand again with 240 grit, then re-prime it. After that, sand with 400 grit.
Then you can start the graphics and top coats.
Finishing takes almost as long as shaping and laminating -- take your time, use only high-quality paints, and you'll get professional results!
Oh yes, and whatever you do WEAR A PROPER RESPIRATOR! The paints are very toxic (isocyanates) and can kill you -- literally!
