Obviously things have come on since then, as even young kids from this forum have made competent pre-preg boards, so it can't be that hard....

You got something to say ,say it .These boards were built 10 years ago .What have you built?

I'm sorry.
All the attitude was a bit confusing. But it wasn't until now that i realised you believed the fat bloke was refering to your old boards. Am I the last to figure that out?
Is it true?
Did your first carbon boards delam?

No biggy.
Like you said, "that was 10 years ago".
I'm sure no one meant to hurt your feelings,
Least of all fat_blokes_can_fly.

sincerest applologies and a Happy New Year to all.

No they didnt delam they snapped . This was due to the outgas in the vacuum bag.Saying that, we fixed the problem with different pre preg and core at the time.We now only use wet lay up with formulated epoxy resin .We get our resin made for us to give use the right flex for the wood and carbon boards. 15 years on and were still learning .Thats the beauty of composites. Happy 2006 to everybody.
