Footstrap Inserts - How?

Postby hugoc » Fri May 19, 2006 4:14 pm

I've read that you route out a whole in the foam core and fill it with an epoxy/microballons filler mixture.

But, do you laninate and cure the entire board in a vacuum first prior to drilling the filler and putting in the inserts? If so, how are the inserts held in - epoxy?

Or, do the inserts get put in during the lamination process?

Any details you can provide would be great as this is my first board.

Thanks

Here is another source you may be interested in pursuing. Has pictures of many steps in building a board. The inserts are part of the sequence.
