whats the maximum rocker that you've had sucess with in boards between 125 and 130cm?

is it going to have concave, will the concave eat the rocker.?

Its a LF subjekt. It was a 132 and its been cut down to about 127. I thought cutting it down would eliminate some rocker but it didn't take that much out. It does have a little concave but the rocker is a pretty aggresive three stage. I think cutting a 137 down to the same size might be a little better what do you think? I've got a few old wakeboards layin around so thought I'd experiment.

if anything, i'd try to keep the tips on the boards. even if the tips have more rocker in them, when you ride you're mostly on edge as opposed to flat, so the rocker won't affect you too much once you're up. but when starting it's always nice to have a little more volume under your feet. i'm not sure if cutting off the tips would bennefit, as the rocker would be gone, but so would a lot of volume. if you have similarly sized/characterized boards, i'd say get out on your cut down wakeboard, and on one that was like it before you had cut it, and see which was better.

p.s, you seem like you might know a thing about wakeboards. do you have any info on the Hyperlite Roam? i was looking to get it as a kite board (more snowboard style..i like) and spending about 1/4 of the money (16 year old flipping burgers for change).

I've never riden one -They do look sic, but I don't think it'd be much different than riding ply. No fins and really flexy. You can pick up an 05' new for under two hundred. I think somebody posted pictures of one saying they picked it up to kite with, maybe they could fill you in

chemosavi has used a home made hot box (oven) to change the shape of an old litewave board.
i believe he was happy with the results.

if your board is more 'thermo-plastic', as opposed to 'thermo-set',
it may work for you.
