wave board

Im 1.7 meters and 90 kg ( yes im fat) ride a sb 12 meters ( thinking of change it to a Contra 14)
I like to build a board for waves.
any one has any idea of sizes, length, concave , etc etc?'
I have a friend who build boards of foam and epoxy, now he´s using PVC for the core. I was thinking of using this PVC ( 6 mm) where the strabs goes to give more solidity
Any ideas?
