I was pondering the concave for ages as there is good reason to believe that a no concave on a light wind board is the way to go but........

In the end I thought "Sod it" and put in 8mm of concave.

Not had time to ride it due to a lack of wind, but I have used the same rocker in previous boards and they have been great.

Weight wise I am not sure as I have not had time to weight in in lbs but in kg it is less than 3kg all in so I guess about 6.6lbs but do not quote me on that.

I'm looking to build boards using vacum. To get that smoothness on the upper side, what's your bag sequence and list of materials?

By the way, I think you're lacking a bit of glass on the down side of the board

Regarding the missing glass, this is my standard layup which I have used for a lomng time now and has not failed me yet, what I have not told you is the weight of each glass layer I use, they are not all the same.

Regarding getting that smooth, glossy top finish this is all down to the pre-cured topsheet process I use.
