If you have your fins already then place them on the board to see what looks right.

The plan shape of your board determines the fin placement. More rounded corners and the fins will end up back and in from ,square tipped boards.

If the fin end is about 5cm back from the end of the board it helps stop most of the spray in the face.

Use a flexi battern to mark a straight line even at either end of the board from the centre line to get your fins in line.

On ply using two bolts per fin works well, and place the fins in a place that the bolts aren't too close to the edge of the board.
