Bamboo Plywood and Veneers

Postby ed257 » Sat Aug 02, 2008 4:53 pm

Has anyone made boards from either bamboo plywood or by laminating bamboo veneers?

Looks like bamboo has a very high strength to weight ratio.

Thanks,

Ed

:thumb: Sean's 6 footers are killer! I see you're in Cape Cod, you can buy these at Hooley Boardroom in Newport.

My old board is of bamboo. it works good. But protect the core. water really damages it.
