Does the board lose some of its rocker when you take it off the press? Looking at making my first board and am unsure how much a wood core will tend to spring back when released from the press.

Yes, the board was lose bit a rocker, but finally when I put fins with rocker my board rocker as planned 2.5cm. maybe my mistake was, I take it off board to early and the board was hot and resin was not enough hard (flex), next board I will do with another fast curing resin harder

I think it looks fantastic.
Glad the ride is good.
To avoid losing rocker,
I would consider a 2 step lamination,
first laminate the rocker into the core, since the core is two layers.
That will help set the rocker.
Then I would laminate the skins, and leave it in the press for a day or two.
I don't know, maybe you do that already.
Epoxy often takes days to get totally hard, as you probably know already,
even if the "cure" is fast..
Might help to keep it pressed until it is near maximum hardness/full cure.
That's all I can think of. Nice job, looks better than my efforts....

From one of the images he posted it looks like starting with 2 layers of ~6mm thin WRC strips, before he started gluing or shaping, but I don't know how it was when he glued it up...
from the intermediate pics I can't tell, if the ends are tapered it wouldn't be obvious.
That would be a way to try it though, the same technique works well enough with ply or foam, at least.
Of course, mileage may vary....

with a press like that i would overcompensate rocker by about 5mm for a wood core, depending how thick you make it. thicker wood, more compensation
probably good idea to leave it in the press for an extra few hours, let it cool under pressure. i know in the burton factory the boards go in the press for like 15-20 minutes at 350 (its like baking!) but you don't just pull out your cookies and eat them, umm i mean board and ride it. let it cool under pressure will help tons, (even with a vacuum press.)

fantastic board again. i'm gonna build a press like this you could get so creative with making boards.

I hope very important is epoxy and harder, for first board I order just good resin with normal cold curing 40min harder, that's harder not special for hot curing and resin curing time after 24h is 90% hardness, after 4h hot curing I guess was ~60% hardness, looks like hard but very flex, and this way was my mistake.
for next board I order harder for hot curing, at 60c temperature and 4h resin curing time is 90% hardness, that's absolutely difference, right? there's very good interview by Roy Wheeldon about resin http://www.skibuilders.com/articles/epoxy.shtml , maybe in a future I will order very fast hot curing epoxy as used burton, nobile and etc.
