The Horror!

Postby JandoF » Fri Nov 12, 2010 3:01 am

just want to share my new "hecha a mano" wakestyle board!!! this is the 3rd board I made an I'm glad that my skills as a shaper are getting better!!

I give you the HORROR
139x42.5cm
31cm tips
4.5cm Rocker
Single concave (almost noting like 2mm) to flat
Full paulownia wood core
Triax glass
epoxy res

feels pretty stiff but it has some flex at tips,, which is just how I wanted to be beacuse its a boots board.

I need to tested it SOOON!! but again I need to wait for my LF Boots till the next year!! :duh:

Nice finish and outline. Love the green. Should be realy visable although how important is that with boots. :) What did you use for the rails?

:D

thanks for your coments!!

yes you can use 6 fins if you want,, but I did it just to see how it feels with 2 fins and if I dont like it,,, I can use the regular set up (4fins),,,

graphics are just tinted resin and I use a vacuum table to do the glassing.

Where did you source the paulownia and was it very expensive?
