Plastic I used for deck (white) was a some sort of medical grade high density plastic cheap. Not as brittle as perspex, epoxy does not stick to it at all nothing sticks to it. To protect that part I bought a cheap off cut off piece of perspex (3mm) to do my layup on which was a throw away item, to give me a perfect finish on the bottom of my board used no wax hear either.
