I'm thinking of making a light wind board.

My conditions are this for when i'll be using this board.

10-15 knots, ocean small swell, waves and chop.

So the board needs to be big obviously but it also needs to slap though chop and small swell without loosing to much speed.

What dimensions, rocker and flex do you think will be best for these conditions.

PS i'm 82kg.

since u did not say surf board i think u mean twintip: so here is what u need to do what u want to do first it needs flex to ride softly then it needs about 2 inches of rocker it should be about 144 by 44 and last it should nave about one quarter inch convex to go through the chop wellall of these things can be done by u if u ues the right materials if u are serious about it post again and i will tell u how

Wider is better, longer is good too. If you've got a router, make the tips '3D' so they flex easy. And ... pilfer a plan from an existing light wind board. Traig aka MonkeyAir just goes to town on a bit of plywood and makes them square, IIRC... pretty hard to stuff up apparently.

Probably easier just to buy one. Short wide boards shouldn't give too much problem with shipping...
