hi there, i have an old fat bastard board from rogue wave ( foam, fiber glass and epoxy ) and, it has a few dents in it ! small ones ! plus, chips in the paint ( has already benn repainted with can paint ! )
so, i would like to know, what to use for patching the dents ! ( maybe 2 to 3 mm deep ! ) i was thinking simple epoxy from to tube seringes ! then sand paper !
and, how to paint it ? can paint ? car can paint ? could i go to a car body shop and have them paint it there with there special paint and gun ?
after the paint, ( a was thinking about a two color painting, sort of zebra like ! can i protect the paint ? what kin of protection should i use ? pencil epoxy gloss ? wood finish ? something transparent should it be, solid, strong, but, i guess water resistant and a liitle flexible !?
could i go to a boat shop and get clear boat finish ? would it do ?
thanks folks !
pic of the design will folow
