Iv'e been making boards for a while now and have always either wrapped the rails or used an eposy filler but i'd like to try the 'sandwhich' style with urethane rails. Having never worked with it before my knowledge is zero and seeing as there are so many different types/grades i'd thought i'd ask what people are using and what works best?

Word on the street is hardness 80, cure time not too short, mix and pour like resin, scuff with coarse sandpaper before glassing, as I recall. Stick with epoxy myself, less bottles of goo to buy and keep track of....

A friend and I have a season on some boards made with Polytek 15-6. Tinted and plain off-white. Seems to be holding up. It's a little brittle at first, but once it's fully cured it seems to dent rather than crack. Had no issues with epoxy sticking.

A few gotchas...
Sets super fast. 5-10 minutes is all you get.
Pour as temps are dropping - evening.
They sell a UV additive. Using it seems wise.
Sand any cross-grain on your core to prevent bubbles.
