Good stuff.
What's the weight and flex? So you've bonded 2 corecell pieces in the middle? That's a good idea to lower the cost, I think. Corecell here is very very expensive.

Its lighter than what I'm used too. I ride only wake and wake-style boards so I never worry about the weight of a board. I can weigh it tomorrow. I got a little whisky in me and said screw it and put some carbon in the middle too stiffen it up. I don't like much flex in between my feet. This is the area where I think most kite boards go wrong. Flex between the feet makes for lose of energy and harder landings. There was over an inch of flex across the board and that is way too much for my liking. Plus the carbon is going to look very nice!
As far as bonding the 2 pieces together I could not get a full 4x8 sheet Shipped to me. That is why it is bonded with urethane glue. I really can not wait to get this painted and on the water. Have to have it ready for the weekend we have some serious wind in the forecast.

Remember, resin doesn't reach its full strength for a week or two, no hard landings this weekend!

I have a make shift hot box with heat lamps to speed up the curing process. I'll use a space heater later to cure it even more after I pull it from the bag. Worst part of making a board is curing time. I'm like a kid at Christmas can't wait to open everything up.

Looks good! I like the ridges on the edges, for grip during board-offs?
And the ridges will add to the board stiffness too.

Yes to both. I stole the rail idea from Hyperlite's Wishbone. They used it to save weight with an all bamboo core and keep the board stiff. By far the best board IMHO and would love for them to make it in a kite version with 2" of rocker for a 143cm board.

Here it is painted and hot coated. Going to sand it down and redo the hot coat for some reason I have some spots where the resin will not stay. Board works great though. Had it out in light winds on my 17m and it was rocketing upwind. Yesterday had it out in 25-30 boosting and doing kite loops on 9m Fuel. Over all pretty happy with it.
