Terrible wind last few weeks. Doesn't matter where you go. :(

Hey KGN - what are the water temps at Sauble? Is it warm enough to go just shorts or a wetsuit be recommended (long or shorty)?

I'm dying down here on the Lake - no wind from Oshawa to Cherry beach for weeks now, well, not enough for my small kite. Looks like I might have to take a drive. I haven't been to Sauble for over 25years now - used to remember miles and miles of white sand - Maui North!!!! (Everything seemed big when you're a little kid)

This weekend is supposed to be good - I might try Sandbanks if the wind looks promising.

Yeah, unbelievable lack of wind. Keep looking at the forecasts: nothing! Even 10-15 is starting to look good. :-?

You can go in with a shorty if its blowing from the nw,and sw just trunk it.The waters pretty warm. But bring a big kite. Most days are 16m(for me and i only weigh 135lbs) and up,and my friend down there rides a 21m.I am going tommorow...and every other day there is wind!          :( :) :P   :?: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
