One stage 2 bar for all kite sizes? Which size?

Postby WILCO » Tue Jun 17, 2003 6:38 pm

Hi,

I want to buy a stage2bar to fit on all my (future) kites. The largest kite is AMP 10.3 (14m). And a 10 m underneath, and maybe a 6m. Which size bar should I get 50/60/70 cm? I don't want to decline the perfomance of the AMp, caus of a too short bar, but don't want a freaking-fast little kite either.............. :?:

It does not sound like a good idea

But if you are really determined on using the same bar for the 14, 10, and 6 m2 - go for the 50 cm bar, no doubt at all.

you could get a 60 and cut it down to 55 and then move your lines in a few cm for a 6m (thats a tiny kite!). 50 mught be a touch short for the 14 but it dpends on how you like it.. I like a 60 for my 17 and 14 takoons.

Hello mate.

Check out the North Sceptor (Spector) bar It has 2 attatchment points on either end enabling you to ajust the width according to what kite you are using at the time. It also has good saftey .

Hope I could help.
Cactus.
