rebel 2011 6m ou 7m ??

Postby siroozteam » Mon Jan 24, 2011 3:14 pm

yo

i planned to change my 2008 rebel 7m.....the beauty is getting old and is not as safe as she used to be in high winds

i would like to go for for a 2011 but i don't which size will fit me the most?? 6 or 7m??

I'd like the "pretty same" windrange of my 2008 (18-20/40+).
for surf riding (Kontact 6') and stratospheric jumps in TT in high winds (I really want to go high.... :jump: :jump: ).

I am 75 kg.good level.

Any advice from those kites users??

Thx

the Guiz.

Hi, I am flying the 2011, 6m and the 8m and have not tried to 7. For the wind range you are talking about I would suggest the 6. It's a powerful 6 this year. Friends of mine on 08's have compared it to their 08 7m. I haven't had it out yet in anything over 35mph but it goes to the moon in those winds. I have used it down to 18 mph on my skimboard without any issues. it's a great kite.

170 lbs. On a fairly large skimboard in smooth 18mph shallow water. Move the kite a lot and do lots of loops :P :P :P
