Gumball,

How will you do with shippipng things to Europe? It would me much easier for europeans to not pay custom duties, only if you had a warehouse or something based in the EU.

What can you tell me about that?

I think you will be screwed and have to pay the import duties but having said that the kites are so bloody cheap compared with whats available at the moment the the additional duty cost might not be as bad as you think. It will also have a lot to do with how BEST declare the cost of the goods on the customs shipping declaration, ie the more value they declare the more you pay.

But if you are buying a quiver and a couple of boards you could go on a flydrive to Orlando with the money you saved and get them delivered to your hotel and see Disney :lol:

I bought a kite from China not so long ago and the duties were £20 UK a kite half the price of a Best. Big deal - £40 notes.

In portugal you pay about 20% of the overall price. I think it's a big deal!! :cry:

i did the figures on that tax thread yesterday.
$600 = £407 landed in the uk with all tax and duty paid.

So this means that you cant test your kites when it is windy...? And I thought they were supposed to fly... In wind... :)
