nemesis HP deep water relaunch.

http://media.bestkiteboarding.com/uploa ... launch.wmv

short and sweet.

Truth is, it's very hard to get the Nemesis HP leading edge down in the water like on the video. It took us about 12 crash attempts just the get the kite in the right positon for this video as usually when you crash it, the kite bounces up on a wingtip. But in the event you have your kite LE down, just pull one back line with the bar fully pulled in toward you, let the kite flip over on a wingtip, and then depower the bar and let the kite drift up to the edge of the wind window. Couldn't be easier...

Kite size is a 12m Nemesis HP in about 14-16 knots.

The Nemesis HP is the best kite we’ve ever made and does everything just a little bit better than any other kite on the market. Whether you’re into big air, big waves, freestyle, handle passes or just cruising, the Nemesis HP is the perfect kite. All marketing hype aside, The 2008 Nemesis HP makes kiteboarding more fun.

Because of a stellar design and an ultra thin Cuben fiber leading edge, it flies faster, turns tighter and jumps higher than any other kite on the market. It delivers unmatched handling response for big wave surfing with ultimate bomb-proof reliability, making it the perfect kite for demanding riders and all riding styles.

Damn, what if we priced it up to 40% less than other brand's regular Dacron LE kites... :o

Hy,
So... my kite cost me 1100 euros (complete).
40% less, it gives 660 euros right? (1100*0,60 = 660)

Im waiting for this prices :thumb:

Yep, price will determine (and of course a demo) on whether a plug a quiver gap with a 9M Xbow3 or this kite.

Also, any wind range stats up yet?

ha ha ha, honestly you're kidding when you wrote this is a deep water relauching!
why show this movie, nemesis hp has problem with relaunching?, you test kite in brazil, then you can show a real deep water relaunching and not one close to the beach.
your marketing is good, but that video is not as good as you do usually, sorry I'm not impressed, really not. see the riders who never moove downwind on the video...
but I know for sure, you'll resolve it. :thumb:

relaunch

Postby intrepid_quest » Sun Sep 16, 2007 12:11 am

The Windwing Rampage 2 and Batwing are relaunched the same way but quicker as in you depower, pull the bar and back leader line till the kite is on it`s wing tip. Release the leader line while still pulling the bar to steer. At this point the kite with hot launch stright down wind. This enables immediate relaunch without needing to be on the edge of the wind window.
