Oh my..that's funny.

Here s an idea for them:
Get 4 inflatable mattresses from COSTCO tie them together, anchor them to a rock and use it as a launch platform

How does a kite fly with 10 pounds of mud on it??

thats why I like the upper launch that much. If you speed in through the mud you get in much nicer. Wonderful image collection. I think thats the way tog et beginners off 3rd...

3rd is just so conventionally located for all the silicon valley nerds... G

I live ~1 mile away. As Knyfe said the upper beach is much better, but if you kite there long enough, you end up muddy. Spring is the worst - combo of low tide days and fresh tracks. But 3rd has very steady wind and decent swell riding in the channel on an ebb.

Aren't you glad the photog wasn't there a couple weeks ago when you, me, and Marv got to crawl in on hands and knees?

I think we need to have a "King of the Mud" comp this year.

Well I would stop doin that if I where you because if there are old tyres in that mud there are going to be other sharper odjects to. I live in England and a couple of my spots aint short of mud either. I have no problem with the stuff other than the stains it leaves on my kite and the broken bottles, rusty metal things and worse I might stand on every time I take a step.

when was the last time you had a tetanus jab? :-?
