Fast Board with Bindings???

Postby pbmaniac27 » Wed May 16, 2007 11:33 pm

Hi

I am looking for a new board to supplement my litewave 145 this summer and have run into a problem

1st. I demoed a 06 nobile and absolutely loved the boards speeeeed!!!!! i really want a board that has great board speed and i really like the snowboard style construction.

2nd I just got a pair of escalades and rode them yesterday with the litewave and really love riding with the bindings. I progressed much faster not having to worry about foot pain on sloppy landings. Landed my first backroll kite loops (hooked in). So i also want a board i can use the escalades on.

Anyway does anybody know a board that meets both these criteria, does a the nobile work with bindings (never seen this yet). I am 170pounds and 6"3" and need this board as my moderate to high wind board. i was thinkin 130-133 would be about right considering i want to use bindings.

Is it stupid putting bindings on these high end boards??

Advice would be greatly appreciated

thanks

Dude I have Unions on my 130 Best Ltd Pro and its AMAZING. They're priced well and are perfect for bindings. You can't go wrong dude.

i would look at liquid forces boards. Recoil 133, and Element 134 i herd are really sick boards, and also the Mission 138 might be something you might want to look at. All compatable with bindings of course

Bindings work exceptionally well on wider boards. You can control the width easier with the leverage you get from the bindings coming higher up your shins.

I agree wider boards work WAY better with bindings. And LF boards are very binding compatable. Stay away (for the most part) from sharp railed boards and bindings. They tend to work way better on softer railed boards ie Best ltd pro, LF element, mission etc

Don't put it on a nobile, it's gonna snap, look at some LF or DC board.
