The Kite 'n' Motion Portimao World Tour Freestyle event, to be held July 23-28, 2007 at the scenic Alvor Beach in Portugal, has been cancelled and changed to an official PKRA Course Racing Tour Stop. Racers from all over the world will congregate for this first event in a series of competitions throughout the year in order to determine a future course racing world champion. All competitors get to race; no heats or elimination rounds; no age restrictions or limitations; there are no judges and the fastest person to finish the course wins.
In conjunction with the racing event, a Kite Masters competition will be held, featuring the top 16 male and female PKRA riders. In a new and different group format, competitors will battle it out for a handsome purse and the “Kite Masterâ€Â
