Great 3 board combo:Door 64
Rip Plus 138
Rip 128
They are all very fast and go upwind very well...
Good flex and pop...
For grip get the 5cm fins on 38 and 28... If you like looser go for regulars....

The Rip is an awsome board. I have a 06 Door 64 and a 07 Session and I have ridden the Rip plus. I would have a Rip now if I could get rid of my other boards, a Crazy Fly and an SS 132.

thanks guys,
thats what i liked about 06 door59 from the start - it was very fast and flew upwind.
of course it's a big board, but still...
took me a while to find a used one.

if RIP is a smaller version od door and just as good, then i'm sold.

p.s. it doesnt seem that many people ride RIPs?

I used to ride the North Dragon. Got the Session first, then a regular Rip. Fantastic board -- good pop, good upwind and super comfy pads and straps. I used to have a problem with my feet coming out of the straps, no more.

Cannot recommend them highly enough. I have the 128 and am getting a 134 this weekend. Can't wait.

The one snag is the mini secondary velcro cross straps get lost, but you don't really need them anyway.

I have a 28 Rip and love it. I am 155# and like to ride this board well powered. For heavier riders consider the 34 Rip too.

A relatively new rider tried mine today in 14-18 kts 190#/14m bow kite and he loved the 28Rip and said he had no problem going upwind.

I recently rode the board for 6 days in super lit conditions 7m kite, 30-35 kts, chop, 3m-4m waves etc, and the board was awesome.

I'm 220lbs and ride the 138, gets me going from 15 mph winds. Awesome board, flex smooth out chop, great pop, goes upwind great. Light weight and bomb proof. Can't ask for more.

Rip plus is flat like session... door... very fast and upwind...
Rip 128 has a little more rocker... but still flat, no concave... speedy... imaging that the 134 is in between 138 and 128 on rocker... All fast and very good surface... doesn't scratch easy... and we have rocks here...
