Postby patelis » Tue Jun 12, 2007 4:57 pm

Hi ppl
I just receive this big guy
Gaastra Phoenix II 05 22m
http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... &rd=1&rd=1

it was at low price , cost me 200 euros , brand new complete with bar lines bag and pump.

the only problem that i found is the valves, all the valves except 2 when you pull out the the pump's hose they losing the air
any idea if is possible to fix it ??
thanks :bye:
(sorry for my English)

I had a 2005 Gaastra Vision and it only had one-way valves on the smallest struts, the Phoenix is probably the same. For the rest of the struts and LE, I had to plug the valve with my thumb when I removed the hose and then quickly insert the plug to avoid losing much pressure. Kind of a pain in the ass...

thanks for your reply
i think you are wright
i just download the manual from the Gaastra site and it say that you must pinch the base of the valve with your fingers to prevent air from escaping.
