17m td2 as light wind kite?

has anyone used this kite for a reasonable lenght of time for light winds,,,,anyone tried it vs the sonic 17 or the contra 17. i'm 200 lbs. and need a light wind kite, would appreciate any comments before my money goes bye bye.
