I think the straps are the same, only different color...or that is I hope they have not changed them....but look at the board..that is wood core..like last years SOL....NICE.

hm, well it might have been wood core, so sorry about that I was wrong, but this is all wood? I don't know how to say it, but if yo look at the see through part of the paint, you can see the wood...it isn't wood like the SOL is. I heard they have their own factory now.

Some guy hit my Thorn 07 board on the side, and I can see some glass there...it wasn't deep though, so there might be wood as well..

When I rode the helix I had a quick go on that board...and it felt good..but not nearly enough for me to say anything about the board. It sort of felt like it was slightly softer on the rail than the 07 which is by far the hardest board on the rail I have ridden...hmm it is hard to explain..
It also looks a little fatter in the middle, so it should be good for powered riding. :-) ..but I don't know the specs though.

Check the see-through part of the 07 Thorn and you'll see wood as well. Not sure if you noticed it because part of it goes under the footstraps.

Has anyone tried this board and can they compare it to the 07 model?

Also, when will it be available?

Thanks

G

The pads are also different, more profile for your feet. I have seen one here already on the beach.

Now that is an ugly board just screaming to be lost in choppy waters.

Bad graphics, bad colors.
