He's been flying all year on the speed tour and this is the icing on the cake for him.
But its a month long event and i wouldnt be surprised with the quality of the riders down there if the record falls again and seb or one of the others end up on top.
I just wish i could of afforded to have stayed out there but record chasing is a very expensive hobby. :evil: so its back to work for me.

South Africa's Sjoukje Bredenkamp just beat her own World Record at the event. Using Cape Dr Custom boards and Naish kites, the queen of speed has pushed he record to 38.45kts for 500m on the first day of the competition.

Alex Caizegues (F-One) pushed the Men's record to 44.55kts beating Olaf's 3 year old record of 41.79kts. Seb managed 43.93 and Lighty takes a new SOUTH AFRICAN record to 42 something.
this is really cool! We know that there is much more to come, since GPS kiter already reached 51 knots.

As you read above, Sjoukje Bredenkamp is close to 40 kntos, that is awesome as well!

the gays come back to Cap town in south africa for next week.
may be a new race on 24 if good forecast

RECORD DU MONDE de vitesse en Kitesurf battu par Alexandre CAIZERGUES à plus de 82 Km/h

Aprés sa derniére victoire de Walvis Bay en NAMIBIE,et son titre de Champion du monde 2007 de vitesse en KiteSurf, Alexandre CAIZERGUES s'est envolé pour LUDERITZ à 400 Km dans le Sud du pays pour s'attaquer au record du monde de vitesse détenu par le Sud Africain Olaf MARTING à 41,79noeuds.

Samedi 15 septembre sur un plan d'eau aplatit par un vent de 35/40n Il réalise un passage à 44,55n soit une vitesse de 82,5 Km/h.
Aprés le record de France et d'Europe de la semaine derniére ,
Nouveau record du Monde battu !!!
