First buy a board for travelling which adds up to the maximum total length width allowed. I have a north jamie pro 05 128 which is exactly bang-on! I then painted over all the graphics so the top is white and botom black and it does not lok like 'sporting equipment'. Before I go I take off the footstraps handle and put it in a carboard box and tape it up. I always get asked what it is and I say 'present/beach toy' which is not in any list. My kite is in my main luggage and the board is my second piece. Because it is not oversized I do not get scrutanized and have travelled by plane all over the world like this (I am a yacht captain and fly alot to different destinations) without paying extra.
