for charging 899$ for a really nice board with absolutly useless foot straps.

Yes, they are on right.

they still suck.

if anyone wants to trade some practically brand new 07 straps and pads for,,,,,hmmm,,,well, ANYTHING, i guess.

man, i guess i was just expecting way too much for 900$

just post the apology here. thanks.

Well you don't like the straps.... Don't buy it!!

If you want other straps.... buy it at a dealer that will give you a good price on some you like!

But please don't come here :desperado: like a child, when 95% off everybody else that tried their boards like them...

smurf, don't act all suprised when the next five responses are unsympathetic! When you commit to spending 900$ on something it's your responsibility to make sure it will work for you(i.e. demo it at your local shop, research online etc.). Don't go around badmouthing a product without expecting some people badmouthing you in return.

Anyways, thus far I haven't heard anyone else complain about them. (though if other people do speak up, I will stand corrected)

Reality is no footstraps and pads will ever suit 100% of riders so you're expecting an apology for falling into the 10% of riders they don't suit? I think thats unreasonable given that most manufacturers offer the option to test first.

If you don't like them, buy a pair of LF or others and move them to your next board when you replace the Nobile.

I have. Word I've heard is "astonishingly great board; astonishingly crappy straps and pads". But I've never ridden one, so what I'm passing along is only hearsay. Won't hold up in a court of law.

On the other hand, I recently demo'd a couple boards (thought it might be time to trade up from my '03 LF Truth). All the boards I see seem to have straps that are unusable for me. I have to set them to the loosest position and still ride barefoot - and they still practically kill me. Beyond being too small, it seems they've all gotten ludicrously narrow. What gives?

I have the opposite problem, I think my feet must be really narrow, cos evn though size 43, straps seem too big.

Anyway, I didn't like the nobile straps at all, and kept losing my board off my feet, so I changed them for the LF lux pads. Didn't like these either as I thought the straps were too big and foot kept sliding too far through.

Finally, last night, after months of messing about I seem to have found the pefect combination. Liquid force pads with the Nobile straps. Super comfy, and loads of adjustment on the size. Now finally feel like foot is fully connected to the board, and I'm not going to lose it every time I leave the water.

I have a 666 EXT and it's awesome! especially after replacing the pads with a set of LF Luxury!

i just think whoever sold those pads to folks should be a little ashamed of them selves
