Nice colour water

Postby Neight » Wed Aug 29, 2007 3:12 am

This is a picture of the crystal clear Western Australian water 4 hours north of Perth. Its a 25C winters day blowing a solid 15knts and had it all to myself!! Its normally like this through winter, 2 days/week.
6 days of 20-25 knt seabreeze/week north of Perth all through summer. 300 windy days/year and skimpies working the draught post at the pub almost every night. Some people dont like crowds but its pretty hard to crowd out WA

No dont be silly this isnt an advertisment,

But the 14m works really well in lightish winds, Not your super light wind kite as it comes with 23m lines, better for heavier people 85kg with early planning boards. Heavier people will be able to turn the kite quicker and it will be more efficient for them to use. :thumb:

hey there Parallex,

i will be in Perth for 5mths to kite over the summer and would be stoked to do a road trip nth... we'll drop in on N8 and crowd his spot for a day or two... sound like fun?

any others up for a roadtrip?

Has Choice kitesurfing still got that big bus? he used to run tours nth... i did a trip in 2005 and was super cheap... maybe he's doing more this summer....

he took a heap of pics of my GF for his http://www.choicekitesurfing.com.au web site... so i say he owes me... i'll call him and ask if we can organise a tour (if he still has his bus) and maybe N8 could throw in a few NEW kites for crew to demo....

this just keeps sounding better!
