Opinion on FURIA

Postby Ulah » Thu Oct 25, 2007 9:52 am

Hello,

I’own an enova 9 and 12m . I ride mainly on wave conditions and some (few days) on a flat water spot.
I love the "allroundabillity" of the enova kite…. But riding waves I feel the 12m too slow and it loses a lot of power when bottom turns…. Maybe my technical skills don't be too good…

I’m thinking about changing one of my kites for a furia, but I need an opinion….

Should I change the enova 12m and buy a furia 13 or change the enova 9 and buy a furia 9m??… Do you guys think it’s a good idea? I don’t know if have two different types of kite will be a mess …

Help me!
Regrads,
:bye:

change both,
don't even think about it.

If you change one just think of which one you use mosth.
If you use a waveboard you will have a lot of fun with the 9.

But the 12 is your slowest kite, the difference with the 13 furia will be hughe

I had the nova 2 and changed a 9 and a 12 for 7-9-13 furia

I switched from E-Nova 7 and 12 to Furia 11 and 7.
The furia 11 is so faster than E-Nova 12 (which is fast for such a size). The low end is a little less than the E-Nova 12 but have all the other features I love. If you are looking for better low end go for for the 13, if you want a more fun kite go for the 11. I tried all sizes before taking mine and love them. I took 11 and 7 due to the place where I ride (15knots + or nothing) and my weight (75Kg).
The furia is one of the best 08 kite for wave and freestyle you can't go wrong with it. :thumb:

Thanks to both :thumb:

Yes, if I change will be a 13 and a 9 because I weight 83kg and there are lots of days with 13-15knots on my home spot.

But will be good a quiver on furia 9m and enova 12m???

Thanks

sizeways it would be good but be prepared that you won't like sailing your 12 anymore. It will even get a bit frusterating

I think it will be a good choice - to start with the 9m2 Furia, when you only want "one" upgrade (maybe it will end up with two, but anyway...).

For several reasons, but mainly because the difference on the ENova and Furia is not as big as on the Nova2 and Furia - regarding "getting used to" - so upgrading one at a time should not be a problem.
And also because you have really good low end with your existing ENova 8)

So it matches the 9m2 Furia fine, as a "pair", IMO.

If you do it the other way round - it should only be if you want to ride a lot (more than in heavier winds) unhooked with the big size, where the Furia is more suited than the ENova :D

But as said - you might get used to the Furia so much you'll like it "too much"

Kindly, Peter Frank
