Hunstanton Shark board attack

Postby mickpilch » Fri Nov 02, 2007 11:56 am

I was minding my own business kiting at Hunstanton last weekend, i'd only been on the water for 5 minutes.

I unhooked for a railey, popped, somehow lost it, hit the water and BAM! felt a sharp pain in my face.....

I got up dazed & confused, everything was spinning and I could taste blood in my mouth.... then I could see blood on my hands.....blood everywhere.....

Then I saw it..... I'd been savaged by a shark, I picked that sucker up by the tail & dragged it up the beach, it didn't put up too much of a fight considering, man I was pissed, no wind for weeks 5 minutes on the water then this happens f***.

Got to the carpark and headed for casualty, 3 hours later I was stuck back together almost good as new, but now I got a badge of courage - nice.

What happened to the shark? I slung that bad boy back in the van - You gotta give those boards a bit of respect........ they're not called Mako for nothing.....

Lol...love it. Pilch is a hero in england - once saved a young boy from a burning fire.

Seriously he was once in the paper for catching a ex-convict selling flexifoil kit out of an ice cream van.
