Wetsuits

Postby ascendkiteboarding » Fri Feb 15, 2008 10:05 pm

I'm in the need of a wetsuit because the lake I kite in Florida is absolutely freezing this year. Any suggestion, the water is probably 65 degrees so should I buy a full or half and how thick. Also, where to get one?

if it is the dead of winter and 65 is the coldest than a good 3/2 fullsuit would probably be plenty. find a local surfshop and go try some on so you get the right fit.

I've been really happy with the niel prye 3000, 3mil, useing it for freediving also it seems to be holding up really well. I was with a bunch of divers last week they were all cold, some were even in a 5 mil, I was toasty.
