hello
Could anyone tell me where the best place to kitesurf in el gouna is, which is the best kite center to be involved with and whether club med is a good place to stay? and just any other useful info.
i was put off club med a little by the fact that apparently its a 10 min shuttle from their hotel but not sure if thats a rumor or not.
thanks,
xz

There are 3 kite centers in El Gouna, pretty much similar level, I've been on a RedSeaZone (
http://www.redseazone.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), good service, frendly people, perfect chillout after sessions!
There is also
http://www.kiteboarding-club.de/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

in El Gouna you always need a shuttle, or min. 10 min walk.
Check
http://www.kitebeaches.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for the exact location on satellite maps.
But you can kite in front of the Moevenpick hotel.

The winds are good in the summer but the tide can make for a long walk. The lagoon is quite shallow and has some decent size rocks lurking under the water surface. Beginner should wear booties! Not the best spot in the summer imo. Nightlife in El Gouna is practically non-existent.

do you say its not the best spot because of lack of nightlife? or is it because of the rocks or what?
