Kitesurfer saves Brazilian girl before drown! Cumbuco, 2nd January 2009 in the morning where the waves still rolled highest saved a Kitesurfer a Brazilian girl who already floated unconscious in the water before which drown. Rescuers on the beach tried to reach to the girl, however, of the Shorebreak was too strong. A Kitesurfer drew the attention of a Kiter already going in the water to the girl. He escaped from the Board and pulled the girl at the beach. There rescue and police took over the unsuccessful girl. A happy end like it should more often seem.

Kitesurfer rettet Brasilianisches Mädchen vorm ertrinken!
Cumbuco, 02.

All went well
Thanks to the rescuers!

thats awesome. Really nice.
...why could the lifeguards not reach her?? Although the pics might lie a little the shore break doesn't look that intimidating.

it looks like nothing, but the shore break was pretty strong. Here you can see it better:

Awesome job
,
That pic of people entering and exiting that water looks crazy why don't they have some kind of system where they don't let swimmers into the water in certain kinds of condition, like using different color flags to show people when it's not safe or not allowed to go into the water.

the northeast of Brazil is just developing...many things need to be done, and will be done.
Just had a talk to the new tourism minister of the area...and he wants to have lifeguards on duty along the beach, now only 1-2 places have this.
