Small Bars

Postby Morfin » Mon Feb 02, 2009 6:14 pm

I recently got my new fuel 09, 9m. And one of the things I noticed first, after loving the looks if the kite, was how small the bar is. Im kind of used to "normal" bars, I don't know the exact measure but for example north comes standard and you can make adjusments, that is the size Im kind of used to seeing. A 11m ss REV comes with a "normal" bar for me, but this bar, that came with my fuel seems very small.
Im not so sure with that kind of bar the kite will perform nice tight kiteloops, for example. What do you know about this?
GRACIAS.

The 9m fuel is so fast that with a bigger bar you have too much leverage and the kite will be too twitchy. Ull find the small bar perfect. Kiteloops galore no problemo!

Yep, just use it and give it a chance. The 9m comes with a 17" bar. I used to use the same bar on my 11m fuel as I found the 21" too big on the 11m.

You will get used to it. Turns and loops no problem.

Would you mind trading that bar? I also got a new 09 11m Fuel with the 20'' bar, I would swap the bar anytime!

Small bars all the way!
