Any one in Cabarete now ?

I am thinking of a last minute trip to cabarete (D.R) for first 2 weeks of august but heard its been a really bad summer there for wind. Is this true ? what are current conditions like ? any info ??

This is what I always look at when I am about to go there....it has always been pretty accurate for me when I go there...what it is calling for over the next 5 days is about what it looked like last time I went...11m early in the day, 9m or smaller late in the day..

We are in Cabarete now. Wind during the last two days has been pretty good, if a bit gusty (10-25). Forecast for the next week looks pretty good.

I'm in Cabaret right now, 25 knotts+ all day yesturday and blowing 20 right now. Has been a few days which were very light but generally ok. Big waves at the mo too. some 2.2m!at least for the next week we should have 1.5ish :)
