Beginner or intermediate

Postby tinge » Tue Nov 10, 2009 10:06 am

Ok what your opinion on when do we go from beginner to intermediate in kiting??

I have been kiting for 3 years now , i can do some spins , rolls and jumps.
I have just started unhoocking on snow..
I know its been a slow progresion , but the wind is unstable here.
But should i consider myself a beginner ??

no big deal , only asking for the hell of it..

In the moment you can

Sail with confidence
Holding your ground
Turn without swimming
Lower or raise your kite, passing other kiters
Lauch you kite from water

in non-perfect conditions I will no longer call you a beginner 8)

I call kiters beginners when I have to be aware of their lack of skills sailing close to them. In the moment they are not a potential danger, your have to pay special attention to, they are intermediates...

Regards Poul
