I have a Bandit DOS 12m2 and love it, mainly the speed to turn, low end and bar pressure but I was thinking in replace it by a Bandit 3.
I would like to know what size of Bandit 3 I should select 11m2 or 13m2.

Aloha,
You have to test the Bandit III for yourself.
Most guys who have flown with the Dos don't like the III because it's a hole different ballgame.
Just test the Bandit III before you make a dicision.
good luck

I’ve tested only the bandit 3 11m2 and haven’t had opportunity to test the bandit 13m3.
Comparing bandit DOS 12m2 with bandit 3 11m2, I realized that bandit 3 11m2:
- is less powerful; it’s more friendly than bandit dos 12m2
- more stable than bandit 12m2
- worse low end than bandit dos 12m2
- higher bar pressure than bandit dos 12m2.
- better high end than bandit dos 12m2
- worse low end than bandit dos 12m2.
I don’t have any information about bandit 3 13m3.

If you are looking to replace the 12m then you must go with the B3 13m. The B3 does not have the same bottom-end as the DOS so you must go at least a size up. What the B3 does have is huge top end - I found 16 knots plus I was starting to get overpowered on the 12 m - The 12m DOS pulls like a truck and gets you on the water early - probably around 10 /11knots. I definitely found less bar pressure on all the Bandit 3 kites than the DOS. I think that the 13m also responds and turns quicker than the 12m DOS.
We have found the Bandit 3 - where last year the 9m with a surfboard was perfect - the 10m is now the better kite - same bottom end as last year 9m DOS but the kite turns quicker.
Biggest B3 sellers for us in South Africa - 10m and 7m !

Bru,
Thanks for your feedback. My concern was related with bar pressure, also responds and turns of the 13m B3 compare with the 12m DOS.
I’ve tested the 11m B3 and I really didn’t like the bottom end of this kite. I will select the 13m B3, as you said it seems better than 12m DOS.

I recently tried to run the 10m2 Bandit III back-to-back with my Bandit Dos 10m2, - but in light wind it did not work.
I can easily get going in 12 knots with the Dos, - but I had no power at all with the Bandit III in same size. To get the same low-end you need at least one size bigger this year.
However, - when the wind picked up to 22-30 knots, - the Bandit III proved a nice upgrade from the DOS, - smoother, slightly faster, more stable and flying more forward in the window (which saves your legs..). It also has one-pump and bridles that don't catch the wingtips, - which was a problem with the DOS.
