Aero - Rhino 16 for low wind (or Fuel 14)

Postby JayEl » Tue Jun 10, 2003 5:36 pm

Which 16 m2 kite will give me most power in low wind ?
- Aero I (2002)
- Rhino I (2002)
- other ? (Fuel 14, whis seems to be 16 m2 as well)

* Will the Rhino I 16 provide me enough range to fill the gap till an Aero I 12 m2 ?
* Is the Rhino I 16 easily water relaunchable ?
* Is the Aero I 16 fast enough turning for jumping ? Is Rhino better ?

I am 87 kg, ride a Wipi Mystery (twintip) 140 and have intermediate level: going upwind easily, jumping, but no transitions yet.

Thanks for your help,
JL

I don't want to go for the 2003 kites for budget reasons :-(
If those wouldn't be there, I know I should go for the Rhino II

How about the Toro1 16m? Pulls like a truck! Should work good for you. The Toro1's are great kites.

Are Toro I good kites then?
I have heard some bad comments about the Toro II, so that I was not considering the Toro I .

The Toro1 is definitely a good kite. The Aero, Rhino and Fuel are good choices as well. I'm partial to the Toro but would say to take the kite that you get the best deal on (price/condition) and you'll be happy.
