Good and all-round quiver ...

Postby Shamikaze » Tue Mar 18, 2003 3:48 pm

Hiya,

Just looking to start ordering my new equipment for 2003 (kites must be wipika-based though).

Looking at the wind-ranges from the all-new AMP's I would think about something like :
AMP 18.0 m2
AMP 12.0 m2
Hydro 8.0 m2 (or AMP 8.0 or AB 8.0)

I'm looking for a quiver of MAX 3 kites that has to get me started early and keep me out there very long. I would assume AMP's for the big and medium size, but something extremely steady/stable for the higher wind-ranges. Ideally would be 3 AMP's, but has anyone already some experience with the smaller sizes and how they behave on the upper wind-limit.

Boardwise I've got a Jimmy-Lewis Wake, and looking to buy either a Wipika Edge or an Underground WT 142.

There are some Wipika guru's around here, so I hope they can help me out a bit here.
