Did I get a decent deal?

Postby cancun_hound » Tue May 20, 2003 6:56 pm

New F-one 12.0 meter Magic (2002), rigged intially 2 lines (because I plan to learn in deep water starts).
New Wipika Gear 160 (2002) board. New harness, leash,
everything including shipping for about US $1,150.
My wind is typically 10-20.
Any tips for learning without a beach (will have boat assistance)?
:-?

Looks like an ok deal. Tip 1: don't let a rookie drive the boat or you will be needing lots of new lines. Props hate kite lines. Get any sort of lessons or it will be frustrating.
Aloha Royce.

Those suck the lines up at a distance. We have a jetski and always pull lines out of the prop. Turn it off when retriving the kite or i guarantee some sucked and chopped lines. Good kiting and strong winds.
