every time I try a double backroll I seem to get around one and a half times and that crash... Seems like I loose my loft... can anyone offer any tips... thanks Jon

Use a bigger kite! first roll is flat, board high, then tuck the board in, this speeds the rotation, pull bar in and crank the bar to the direction needed.

most of your first rotation should be done rite after u leave the water making the second one easier

Initiate as you would normally do. Small lift spot the landing for one rotation bigger lift don't spot the landing and keep on turning.

Send the kite over your head after you complete first spin. That should give you an extra shot of lift. Alot of times I over rotated after this, it takes some time to get the rotation speed, and timing right. But try to send it, more than you have been. Even if you don't land it, its so fun. The extra lift seems to come from no where, as you just hang there spinning. Also once you have the kite overhead, you can decide if you want to trasistion. Try a down loop.
