Different name for the old F-One Shadow.
They were just trying to market them to snow-users. I had the 7 & 9m Shadows, and they were high quality, nice kites. No de-power, of course, but simple, great kites

The F-One Alpina is a two line kite with a brake line, similar to the setup of the Slingshot B ram air kites.
You can rig it as a four line kite with a depower bar using the WingWarp system (
http://www.pegaskites.com) or the Blade mod (search this forum).
I use the WingWarp system and I'm very happy with it.

they did look like the shadows, but the material seem different. heavier. seemed to take more wind to fly, but once going was much like the shadows. as mentioned no depower, but flew fine and pulls like a truck.

I had the shadow as one of my first kites, dont waste your time with it. needs to be very powered and you have to work it in the window to keep it from falling out of the air. For a good snowkite check out Ozone frenzy or just use an inflatable.
