Hi,
I'm a french girl kiteboarding.
I'm searching a surfkite, but I'm quite small and light : 1m56 (5,11 feets) and 49kg (108lb)
My programm is lightwind on a lake in France-Monteynard and small waves in Beauduc or Brittany.
Girls, what is your surfboard quiver?
I hesitate between a Celeritas Slingshot 5'6 (but maybe too much volume for me), a Mitu Fone 5'4 (cool for waves, but maybe not top for lightwind) and a Fish Fone 5'6 (cool for the lightwind but not waves I think...)
Thanks
Sophie

Have you thought about a skimboard? It’s tricky with surfboards; you have to find your perfect fit thru trial & error; you are tiny, so you’ll eject almost as fast as the board itself, so yes, less volume .... I see many happy campers on the 720, which was developed by one of the youngest wave talents.
BTW 156cm isn’t 5’11”, it’s more like 5’2”
Rip hard

Stef is in France, and the kite seems to be popular there so you should be able to demo it. Sizing I would say is perfect for you in high to medium winds. For light wind you can't go past things like Soul, Hyperlight, Pulsion, A15 and Aurora 2. If you a purely flat water or small waves maybe even a race kite could be fun.

I'm sorry for posting in the girls forum but based on your question it shouldn't make any difference whether a guy or a girl responds - I hope you don't mind. Based on your size - I would recommend a Firewire Vader or Vanguard. A 4'10" in Vader or 5'0" in Vanguard. That is - if you want to ride strapless & they are available in your area. I think you would love the smaller sizes & they will be great boards for helping you progress as well as still be great when you are totally dialed in

5,11 (5.11) feet, not 5' 11" is what she means
