World's first Kite Relay in Cumbuco, Dec. 2nd!

Postby Toby » Fri Nov 03, 2006 4:46 pm

I'm planning to do world's first Kite Relay in Cumbuco, Brasil, on December 2nd.

A team will be out of 4 persons, at least ONE girl! More girls are welcome!
You can take only one kite for the complete team, but each rider can have its own board.

We start from the point upwind of the Cumbuco center from shore.
The team closer to the upwind buoy will be positioned further back on the beach and the ones further down closer to the waterline.

There will be a jangada (Brazilian fisher boat) upwind, which you have to pass, then head downwind to another jangada, and back to the beach, where your team mate is waiting. Pass the safety leash and the kite and off he/she goes. Until the last one arrived at the finish line.

If you want to join, please sign in your team name as reply to this topic.

It will be great fun!

Safety has priority, please keep this in mind.
