I see most of the major kite companies are going curved tips.
What will this do for the kites performance.
Extra depower if so will this compromise the bottom end.
How will it effect lift and hangtime say for the new 07 raven , I see all of naishes kites have curved tips.

this is done for more depower.
It doesn't affect hangtime and lift.
I wouldn't say it affects the low end, since my experience is, that I start quiet early with round tips as well. But also due to the fact that the kites turn faster.
I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just get a bigger board for ultimate lightwind, not neccessarily about the kite.
The Raven looks good, I'm also keen on trying it!

There is a good explanation of Round Tips and the advantages you get from round tips on the f-one web page.
http://www.f-onekites.com/New_site/angl ... ndtip.php4
You need flash to see the explanation. It pops up in a new window, so you also need pop ups enabled.
F-One introduced the first round tips design in 2005 on their Mach5 kite. Now everybody has round tips.
Best regards,
Marc
