i've seen those pants around but don't really know where i can buy them and what brands are out there in the market. Has anyone tried them? how good are they?

they are warm as well as protect from man o wars and the wind chill effect, some look good try excess kiteboard addiction they have a bunch of stuff

I wear them so I don't look like a windsurfer,
kinda like the reason snowboarders wear baggy pants not skintight lycra like skiers

Do you really think people will mistake you for a windsurfer? Does that really matter anyway?
Use a wetsuit, it actually is useful and functional and offers physical and temperature protection.
Spend your remaining money on something that actually helps you kite better, like a good harness or Q-Power lines.
Don't be a fashion victim, you'll only make kitesurfing as a sport look ridiculous.

Has anyone tried to swim any distance in these things? Seems rediculous to use baggy pants while performing a water sport!
Oh well, fasion and vanity drive most of the superficial world so a certain percentage of even kiters will fall victim to this. It can't hurt the rest of us though. Are these pants low cut so that we can see your but crack when you are bent over messing with your kite? What ever. Bag on, Dude.
